What was the inspiration for womenaretraining.com? Each year on International Women's Day, The World Economic Forum releases a report on the state of equality for women. It is largely ignored. The inspiration of womenaretraining.com is to make economic, health, business building, entrepreneural opportunities and advancing women a priority. An on-line space women can conveniently access content, post, partner and connect to a community of women.
What is the story behind the site? womenaretraining.com is the on-line training service of Williams Creative Communication or WCCP. The for women by women production company was founded in 2003 by Dominica Ketura Williams. As labor relations leader fighting for fair wages during a time when labor unions were on a decline--she recognized the obstacles for women in the workplace. Increasing cost of health care, lack of flexibility, limited opportunities for upward movement, and positions dominated by women were often lower paid. After representing women owned businesses and organizations throughout North America and Europe--she connected with educators, corporate trainers and communicators to create a space they would want to use.
Who are the women the site is targeting? Our target audience are 28-65 year old, formally or informally educated women.
When will the training services begin? Test group training began in 2018 and are on going. On-line marketing strategies will begin on March 8, 2024, with a full launch Summer 2024.
Does the site sell registered guest information? No. We do not and will not sell subscriber information.
What type of training services will be offered? The primary goal is to assist women in gaining wealth--wealth that comes in the form of health and well-being, financial security, building a foundation for the future such as retirement, family businesses, turning a hobby into a profitable hustle and more, navigating new technology, on-line jobs, negotiating strategies and marketing techniques.
Will the site promote politics? Women's rights are in flux, not just in the United States. One of the primary reasons it is estimated that women will not reach equality for more a century is because of decisions being made about us without talking to us. Women having a voice is the point, so yes, women talk politics.
